- Will this hood work on a northern sport mod and is it the new style that goes over the air clean so i dont have to have an air scoop?Yes they will fit a Northern Sport Mod. We’ve sold these to several guys that run this class. I own a Northern Sport Mod and run our complete body package and the hood fits great. Depending on how high your motor is, you should be able to use this without having to cut the air cleaner hole. You’ll probably have to raise the hood the 2” that IMCA lets you to accomplish this.
